I've been into Jeeps since before i could drive and i've always wanted an old Willys. The JT would be like a dream come true, and i'd happily park it next to my 08 Wrangler. All i ask is build it like the nice rugged 4x4 i know it should be and toss in vinyl/waterproof/hoseable seats and floors. Skip the carpet and rhino line it inside and underneath.

I agree with most post on here. Conventional tailgate, spare on the side ,and optional extended cab. (Gladiator) However, I've wanted a Jeep Truck for so long that if this was all they produced, I would buy one tomorrow. I need a Jeep Truck to round out my Jeep Family. I have a 07 Commander for the wife and i have a 87 YJ for my toy, but i need an everyday driver and i need a truck. We are a JEEP family and i NEED a truck. Will you please produce me a JEEP Truck!

We've owned jeeps for YEARS mostly Wranglers .... BUT had lost interest in the new models listed for 2010 - 2011 ... they came across to me as just wussy SUV's and have LOST the JEEP flavor. BUT you build and produce this JT or the 2010 Scambler concept to the market and we're BACK on the jeep bandwagon.

I don't know what the driving force is behind the NEW looks - but it appears Jeep could use some good ol common sense on the development team - and you know what I'm available! FOR FREE EVEN!! Call or write and I'll gladly fill ya in on what will SELL .... as I'm comfident the previous 200 PLUS commenters would volunteer a few words as well.

WAKE UP my JEEP Engineer friends!!! The people are speaking!!!

JEEP...grow a pair and and produce a truck. The Gladiator is a no brainer. I would but one today. What are the competitors to a Jeep truck? Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, and GMs Colorado and Canyon. Nothing would resemble the Gladiator and there isn't an off-road capable truck in production today. JEEP's line-up is all 2 & 4 door SUVs varrying in size, luxury and capabilities, but all look the same. The only thing worth buying at Jeep is the Wrangler, Grand Charokee and 2010 Liberty. These cars have meaning & purpose the Patriot, Compass and Comannder are garbage. Please, for the love of God, if any one reads this at Chrysler, produce a truck and if at all possible make it the Gladiator, but I would settle for the JT or J8.
